The perfect last weekend in Calgary

This weekend was perfect, almost nothing went according to plan. In fact all of my plans for the next few days are pretty much out the window however I wouldn't change a thing. Here's a true fact, life is not perfect, it never will be.
As people we have a bad habit of romanticizing things, thinking that some place or thing or person has or will make everything perfect. The reality nothing is perfect, however things can be really really good, that has been my life for the past six months. There were hard days but overall they have not outweighed the good, because I chose to believe Gods promises. That God wants us to have life and have it to the full. So I have tried to live believe in that promise and that's why Ireland will be good, because its were God wants me to be, so I am choosing to say yes and live my life there. I will choose life, so there will be good days and there will be hard days but I am going to do my best to remember to remember the promises made. To look around me and see the blessings instead of clutter that tends to take our focus off whats important.
So why was this crazy weekend good, because if it were perfect I would forget why I am leaving. I am leaving because God always writes a better story for me than I write for myself. This weekend reminded me to count my blessings to enjoy every second I have here and then to enjoy the next great adventure He has set before me.

T-minus 4 days until takeoff
